JAIPUR – Sky Waltz Balloon Safari, India’s premier hot air ballooning company will be extending services to Pushkar during the Camel Fair, giving tourists and locals the option of enjoying this colorful event from the comfort and privacy of a hot air balloon.

The Camel Fair is an annual event that takes place in October or November, depending on the lunar calendar, in the holy city of Pushkar, Rajasthan.
This year, the festivities will take place between November 12-21 (main fair dates are November 18-21).

Renowned as one of India’s greatest cultural spectacles, the Pushkar Camel Fair features over 20,000 animals and draws crowds upwards of 300,000 merchants, revelers, and tourists from around the world. While most globetrotters would salivate at the thought of experiencing such an authentically traditional event, some people may find the extreme crowds and noise a little upsetting.

Sky Waltz’s elite ballooning service enables practically everyone to participate in this outstanding party comfortably and conveniently. Their all-inclusive service even includes hotel pick up and drop off for the guest.

From high aloft, spectators can watch the colorfully-dressed merchants bathe, groom, and decorate their camels for display and trade. Veiled women perform regional dances as local thespians take over the stages. It’s a once in a lifetime event that will undoubtedly become the crowning experience of any sojourn to India.

If the grape wine is to be believed, then The Rajasthan Tourism Department is also thinking of organizing an International Ballooning Festival at Pushkar during the same dates.

Sky Waltz offers their distinct balloon tours throughout Rajasthan’s major tourist cities including Jaipur, Udaipur, Neemrana, and Ranthambhore.
Flights are typically offered from September to the end of March when wind conditions are optimal.

“After running successful hot air balloon operations across the globe, including Africa, Europe, Australia, the USA, and the UK, Sky Waltz is proud to bring this amazing experience to India,” said Samit Garg, Director of Sky Waltz, “We have developed a very strong team that not only provide passengers with an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience but deliver[s] quality and top notch service.”
