If Southwest decides to add the Boeing 737-800 to its fleet, this larger aircraft would have the capacity to make the longer-haul flight across the Pacific Ocean to the Aloha State.

Currently, Southwest just completed tentative agreements with its flight attendants and pilots. Once the agreements are voted on and workers ratify a new contract, the airline will then make a decision about the purchase of the larger planes.
