Alaska Airlines inaugurates Portland-Honolulu service

SEATTLE – Alaska Airlines today is launching daily service between Portland, Ore., and Honolulu.

SEATTLE – Alaska Airlines today is launching daily service between Portland, Ore., and Honolulu. The airline already flies between Portland and Kahului, Maui, and will begin service between Portland and Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii, on Nov. 12, 2010.

Alaska Airlines is offering introductory $169 one-way fares between Portland and Honolulu, and $179 one-way fares between Portland and Kona for tickets purchased by Sept. 27, 2010. Sale fares are available for travel between Portland and Honolulu, starting today through Feb. 16, 2011, and between Portland and Kona from Nov. 12, 2010, to Feb. 16, 2011.
