PORTSMOUTH, England – Cruise Amour, which brands itself as the Apple Mac of the cruise industry, is running a competition to win one of 50 free cruise holidays and over 200 cruise experiences, a prize fund believed to be the biggest ever offered by a cruise travel agency in the UK. The competition has been announced to coincide with the launch of the company’s brand new website.

Managing Director Tim Hurrell said: “We’ve invested heavily in building a website that puts the customer first, offering usability and feature enhancements never before seen in the cruise industry. We felt it fitting therefore, that the launch of possibly the UK’s best cruise website should be marked with the UK’s biggest and best Cruise Giveaway.”

The new Cruise Amour website will be launched at the start of National Cruise Week aboard Celebrity Eclipse, the cruise ship that postponed its pre-inauguration celebrations in order to rescue 2,200 British nationals stranded in Spain by the ash crisis last April.

When asked what makes the new website so much better than other cruise agency sites, Hurrell responded: “Most other sites are slow, difficult to navigate, presume knowledge and are fundamentally unreliable. Our focus on usability and innovation has enabled us to build a site that, unlike its competitors is packed full of relevant content, live booking data and is a joy to use.”

One thing that is perhaps worth significant note, is the support Cruise Amour has received from its Cruise Line partners, especially Royal Caribbean International & Celebrity Cruises.
