The Seychelles Tourism Office in the Middle East has secured an exciting promotional competition opportunity in conjunction with Emirates Holidays and Dubai Mall, the leading shopping mall in the region, to promote Seychelles as a key prize offering in their Eid shopping promotion from September 7 to 18.

The promotion will enable shoppers who spend AED300 to enter a draw to win exciting prizes including two dream trips to Seychelles. Dubai Mall has a footfall of over 1 million visitors per week, many of whom are visitors from other GCC countries, and hence this promotion offers destination exposure with travelers from right across the GCC region with over 1,200 world-class outlets.

The two-week Eid promotion will be highlighted by colorful Eid band performances, henna painting, Ramadan tents, falconry, heritage activities, traditional Dabkeh and Tanoora dance performances, oudh and qanoon music renditions, a lively street paint exhibition, photography display by the Emirates Fine Arts Society and Pink Pepper Photograph, and give-away sweets (Eidaya) from the guest service desks. For children, there will be the special Tickles & Giggles tents featuring story-telling sessions, jewelry making, henna, and arts & crafts, as well as the popular Barney shows.

The draws will be held on September 18, 2010. Winners of the “Dream Holidays” packages to the Seychelles Islands get three-nights luxury private villa accommodation at the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles or at Banyan Tree Seychelles with plenty of time to experience the warm Creole culture of the Islands and to enjoy the spectacular beaches and exotic marine life of the Indian Ocean.

All “Dream Holidays” packages are inclusive of hotel stay with daily breakfast, as well as return flight tickets courtesy of Emirates Airlines and return airport transfers.

Alain St.Ange, chief executive officer of the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) and eTurboNews ambassador, said: โ€œWe are honored to partner with The Dubai Mall for their Eid promotion. Seychelles is one of the preferred tourist destinations for visitors from the Middle East, and through our partnership we are confident of offering a truly dream holiday experience in the Seychelles islands for the winners of the raffle.โ€

With the extensive e-marketing, in mall advertising, and regional PR activities, this alliance with one of the leading shopping malls in the world, is further enhanced by STBโ€™s partnership with Emirates Holidays to provide the holiday package prizes.
