PATA appoints Shahram Saber as Asia representative

BANGKOK, THAILAND – The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has appointed Shahram Saber in the newly-created role of regional director, Asia.

BANGKOK, THAILAND – The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has appointed Shahram Saber in the newly-created role of regional director, Asia.

Based in Macau, SAR, Mr. Saber is responsible for managing PATAโ€™s marketing and membership programs across Asia, excluding China (PRC) which will continue to be managed by PATA China Director, Kate Chang.

With more than 20 years experience in senior marketing and management roles in Australia, Asia, Europe and the US, particularly with membership-based organizations, Mr. Saber is ideally placed to lead PATAโ€™s expansion in the dynamic Asian markets.

Well-known in travel and tourism for his achievements with dive association PADI Asia Pacific, Mr. Saber will take on the role via his new representation company Global Travel Marketing Services, Ltd.
