Unisys Corp. has renewed its contract with TravelSky, which runs China’s air travel and tourism industry, the Blue Bell-based information-technology company said.

The company said that $43 million deal for computer equipment and support services was signed in the first quarter of the year, but it was disclosed only yesterday.

TravelSky operates the reservations and departure control systems used by China’s air carriers, and also maintains the global distribution system for China’s travel agencies.

“TravelSky has been a Unisys client for more than 25 years, and we’re delighted to be partnering with them in the next stage of their growth,” said Sue Carter, vice president, Global Commercial Industries, Unisys Asia Pacific.
