French tourist survives epic drop into the Grand Canyon

He was said to be in good condition at Flagstaff Medical Centre on Saturday morning after the fall on Thursday afternoon, which left him with neck, wrist and ankle injuries.

Fellow tourists looked on in horror as he landed unconscious on a ledge before being airlifted out in a park helicopter and transported by ambulance the medical centre.
