A Georgian airline official says that the carrier has won a permission to conduct flights to Russia through the summer.
Georgian Airways spokeswoman Nino Giorgobiani says that the Russian authorities have allowed her company to fly to Moscow three or four times a week starting next Monday.
Giorgobiani said Tuesday that the flights will run through the summer, and will possibly continue until November.
Russia previously allowed the company to conduct the total of nine charter flights in January and April.
The resumption of air travel has signaled some easing of tenisions between the two ex-Soviet neighbors following their August 2008 war.
