Orbitz has combined its application programming interface (API) capabilities and inventory of its suppliers with the iSeatz OneView platform. This exclusive partnership aims to develop customized private label and in-path travel solutions.

As part of the agreement, the online travel company will give customers of existing iSeatz partners including Delta Air Lines, KLM/Air France, and Amtrak, the ability to book travel products through the Orbitz Worldwide global network of suppliers.

โ€œAs ancillary revenue development becomes a critical priority for airlines around the world, the Orbitz-iSeatz, in-path solution offers airlines the ability to massively increase their hotel and car attachment versus the industry’s existing, outdated solutions,โ€ said Barney Harford, president and CEO of Orbitz Worldwide.

He added that the combination provides partners โ€œwith the most flexible and customizable private label solution in the marketplace today.โ€

Some of the key benefits of this partnership include:

โ€ขFully customizable offering built to meet partnerโ€™s exact specifications

โ€ขComplete control over the user experience, presentation of supplierโ€™s inventory and sort order

โ€ขAbility for suppliers to integrate ancillary products via an in-path cross-sell within the primary supplier booking path in a single, seamless checkout process
