The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) Mexico held its 4th Annual Corporate Travel Conference at the World Trade Center in Mexico City March 22-24. More than 260 corporate travel professionals from across Mexico, the United States and Latin American attended this record-breaking event to gain insights about successfully managing corporate travel in todayโ€™s challenging economic climate.

NBTA Mexico Regional Director Rodolfo C. Macedo Jimรฉnez said, โ€œWe were pleased to host the largest NBTA Mexico conference in the associationโ€™s history last month. We welcomed more attendees and exhibitors than ever before โ€“ a sign that the economy is recovering and corporations are back on the road.โ€

Attendees shared best practices and explored trends that generated savings and better utilization of resources in a down economy last year. They were also provided with an overview of the use of mobile technology in the global business travel community today, as well as corporate travel trends from the perspective of media in travel. Delegates also took the time between education sessions to network with travel suppliers at the Travel & Technology Exchange Showcase.

โ€œWeโ€™ve received such positive feedback from this annual conference, and this year is no exception,โ€ added Macedo. โ€œOur loyal delegates continue to return and are clearly spreading the word about this valuable education and networking event for corporate travel professionals in the region.โ€
