ASTA announces Maloney’s resignation

The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) has announced the resignation of William Maloney, CTC, as CEO.

The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) has announced the resignation of William Maloney, CTC, as CEO.

ASTA President and Chair, Chris Russo said, “Bill has served ASTA and the travel industry well and I appreciate all of his hard work.

“He carried us all through difficult times in the travel industry. I wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Maloney is a 30-year veteran of the travel industry and has served ASTA as CEO since 1999.

The aim of ASTA is to facilitate the business of selling travel through effective representation, shared knowledge and the enhancement of professionalism.

ASTA seeks a retail travel marketplace that is profitable and growing and a rewarding field in which to work, invest and do business.
