Jerusalem to host travel networking event

The new luxurious 5-star David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem will host Travel Leaders’ International Summit from April 23-25, 2010. This event is the organization’s annual opportunity to network and to explore and learn about a global destination through exclusive in-depth tours.

In addition to the actual business meeting portion of the International Summit, participating Travel Leaders associates will experience an exclusive evening event and light show at the David Citadel Tower Museum. It will get a private, Travel Leaders-only walking tour of the Old City and an exclusive tour that begins with a visit to the Mount of Olives for a spectacular view of the “Golden City.” Travel Leaders will see the oldest and most important Jewish Cemetery in Jerusalem and visit the Chapel of the Ascension and the Church of Pater Noster. The tour will continue to the olive-treed Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. On to the New City of Jerusalem with a visit to Yad Vashem, Memorial to the Holocaust.

There will be a Farewell Reception and Dinner at the Israel Museum. The evening will begin with a reception at the Shrine of the Book arena with the dramatic Jerusalem sunset as a backdrop. Prior to dinner, the museum’s general director James Snyder and Dr. Adolpho Reutmann, Shrine of the Book Curator, will guide Travel Leaders on a private tour of the Model of Jerusalem in the 2nd Temple Era and the Shrine of the Book.

Registration for the International Summit is US$395 per person, based on double occupancy. The registration fee includes three nights at the David Citadel Hotel and all events and tours, as well as all taxes, gratuities, and transfers for events and tours. In addition to the Israel Ministry of Tourism, which is hosting the 2010 Travel Leaders International Summit, other sponsors include Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Pleasant Holidays, and Travelport.
