The world’s largest JW Marriott opened its doors this month in San Antonio, Texas, offering a hacienda-style getaway brimming with luxurious amenities.

Situated on the cusp of the Texas Hill Country, the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa offers patrons views of live oaks and rolling scenery. Some 1,002 guest rooms have been designed as intimate retreats with a rustically refined decor. The resort also includes a 26,000-square-foot spa with a Texas-sized array of treatments along with a lagoon-like, private pool.

Perhaps the resort’s most notable offerings can be found in its two Tournament Players Club golf courses. The AT&T Canyons Course was designed by Pete Dye and Bruce Lietzke, while the AT&T Oaks Course dotes designers Greg Norman and Sergio Garcia. Starting this year, the resort will be the new home of the PGA’s Valero Texas Open, May 13-16, 2010.

With more than 140,000 square feet of meeting space and a convenient location to the airport and downtown, The JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa makes for a top all-in-one meeting destination.
