With a 100 percent stake in Eccelsa, Geasar has established the first fixed-base operator terminal at Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, allowing visitors to begin their stay in style. An architectural masterpiece in its own right, Eccelsa’s terminal resembles a vast aircraft door from the air, while from ground level its clean lines swoop skyward like giant wings.

This commitment to beautiful design does not, however, equate to a compromise in environmental awareness – more than 60 percent of Eccelsa’s ramp equipment is powered by electrical engines, with plans to move up to 80 percent by 2021.
As passengers relax within the cocooning comfort the space provides, its elegant structure and ambient lighting creates a sense of privacy and peace. It’s also the only private terminal in Europe to have a canopy that can host Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 Max aircraft, meaning passengers have a leisurely stroll of just 30 meters from terminal to airplane.

For those arriving in private rather than commercial aircraft, Eccelsa’s terminal boasts a hangar facility for sheltering aircraft, while highly trained staff are on hand to provide maintenance services. Eccelsa’s discreet limousine service, meanwhile, allows passengers to reach their yachts in just five minutes.

When travelers take the next steps of their journey, the gold-star treatment continues thanks to Eccelsa’s relationships with local partners and brands, such as Rolex, Audi and Bombardier. There’s also Cortesa, whose distinguished team of chefs deliver high-caliber in-flight catering, with mouth-watering choices such as fresh lobster on the menu. All dishes are prepared within a state-of-the-art kitchen, using a unique ‘chain of cold’ procedure to ensure food is as fresh as possible and full of flavor.
