Wednesday, Romania’s National Institute of Statistics announced that the total tourist arrivals in to the country decreased 18.7% year-on-year in September, compared to the 10.1% fall in the previous month.

Meanwhile, overnight stays declined 18% on an annual basis in September.

For the January to September period, tourist arrivals and overnight stays decreased by 13.6% and 16.2%, respectively compared to the same period of the previous year.
