Eos launched in October 2005 and has the world’s only fleet of Boeing 757s configured for just 48 passengers. The airline claims to carry one in every nine business class passengers on flights between London and New York JFK airport.

As well as the new flights to Dubai in July, Eos will also launch new flights from Stansted to New York Newark airport from 5 May. Eos claims that its new service between London and Dubai will be the most convenient for business travellers.

“Our community includes many guests and investors from the Gulf region who feel that Dubai and Eos are a perfect fit. UAE consumers appreciate products and services of the highest quality and we have created a travel experience that authentically reflects their lifestyle, an extension of the way they want to live while flying,” says Eos’ President & CEO, Jack Williams.

“In addition, our corporate and leisure travellers based in New Jersey have told us they are eagerly anticipating our route between Newark and London Stansted,” adds Williams.

With these new routes US based airline Eos will be in direct competition with UK based business class only airline Silverjet, which flies from Luton airport. Silverjet currently offers a twice daily service from Luton to New York Newark, and launched daily flights from Luton to Dubai in November.

Eos won the prestigious Best Long Haul Business Airline at the 2007 Business Travel World Awards, and its Boeing 757 planes give passengers 21 square feet of personal space, including a 6’6” fully flat bed. The airline prides itself on guest satisfaction and also offers fast track check in and security.

British Airways, Emirates and Virgin Atlantic already offer flights from London to Dubai. Emirates also flies from Birmingham airport, Glasgow airport, Manchester airport and Newcastle airport to Dubai.
