Waterfront Suites Phuket by Centara now open

Centara Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Waterfront Suites Phuket by Centara, a total of 39 spacious serviced apartments housed in a 20-story tower facing the ocean at Karon Beach in Phuket.

Waterfront Suites is part of Centara’s recently-launched Centara Residences and Suites brand, and is designed for guests who prefer a self-catering holiday.

“This new opening is our seventh property in Phuket, and as all the other properties are resort hotels, we believe Waterfront Suites is an excellent addition to our group and provides a very attractive option for our guests, especially families,” said Gerd Steeb, President of Centara Hotels & Resorts.

The 39 apartments comprise one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, all with a living room, a large dining area, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

All suites have panoramic views of Karon Beach from the living room and master bedroom, both of which have spacious sea-facing balconies large enough for dining, and from which the spectacular sunset over the Andaman Sea may be enjoyed. The two-bedroom suites have a third balcony offering views of the forested hills behind Karon.

Amenities include microwave oven, toaster, electric water jug, TV with satellite channels, wireless Internet connection, and IDD telephone. Daily room service is provided.

There are 17 one-bedroom suites of 103 sqm in area and furnished with two twin beds and one sofa bed. The dining area has 6-8 seats. The 22 two-bedroom suites are 167 sqm in area and are fitted with two full-size beds and one king-size bed. The dining area has 8-10 seats.
Waterfront Suites has a large free-form swimming pool, with kids’ pool and Jacuzzi. A full-size doubles tennis court with floodlights is available, with rackets provided. Inside the building are a squash court, sauna rooms, and a games room with a full-size pool table, dartboard, and table tennis table.

The reception desk is open 24 hours during the high season – October 15–April 15 – and staff will arrange tours, car hire, and airport transfers, as well as offering advice on local activities and sights.

Security guards and engineering staff are on duty 24 hours day, and surveillance cameras are installed at key locations.

The building does not have its own restaurant, but local restaurants are immediately available outside the building, and Centara also has two other resort hotels at Karon, which offer a choice of dining venues.
