“The demand to exhibit in the expanded TOT section has been phenomenal with the section being 90% sold out already.”
Furthermore, The International Federation for Information Technology In Travel and Tourism (IFITT) and the Travel Technology Initiative (TTI) together with OpenTravel Alliance will each run a half day’s program for its members in the main Platinum Suites on Monday, November 7.
The core Technology and Online Travel conference program’s profile has also been heightened with a day’s program in the Platinum Suite 1, Tuesday, November 8 + an Online Essentials session on Wednesday, November 9 in Platinum Suite 3.
The move to the Platinum Suite sees the capacity of the program increase dramatically from around 180 people, in its previous home in North Gallery Rooms, to more than 250 people. The day is organized in conjunction with the Travel Technology Consultancy – Genesys, who’s Senior Partner, Paul Richer is the moderator.
The Technology and Online Technology Presentation Theatre returns following its successful launch at WTM 2010, with sessions from a number of leading tech firms including TripAdvisor and RateTiger – eRevMax – plus the Theatre will present the THack by Tnooz and have presentations from many other Exhibitors including Ixaris and ZOLV.
World Travel Market Exhibition Director Simon Press said: “World Travel Market’s TOT region and program is growing in importance to the event. We expect to see more technology buyers attend WTM 2011 than ever before, reflecting the increase in TOT exhibitors and content at the event.”
