Emirates presents super lounge at Fiumicino Airport

The Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport Emirates lounge, an area of 950 square meters, stands among the most spacious lounges in the Roman airport.

Emirates consolidates its role as carrier of reference for the routes on the Middle East, inaugurating its new lounge at Fiumicino with the pride of 600,000 passengers transported each year from Fiumicino and Dubai, which is the second intercontinental destination after New York after the Roman airport.

The Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport Emirates lounge, an area of 950 square meters, stands among the most spacious lounges in the Roman airport.

“It is the 42nd lounge of the carrier with an investment of 4 million euros and the unique plus to offer direct access to boarding the aircraft,” underlined Flavio Ghinghirelli, the country manager for Italy of Emirates.

The new lounge has a relaxation area with 160 seats, a toilet with showers, and a refreshment corner, and it is well integrated with the service pluses reserved for Premium passengers who are also offered a personalized transfer from the city to the airport. The new Emirates space in Rome Fiumicino is also available for incentive groups after an agreement required by the organizing agencies to the airline staff.

To these must be added from the upcoming summer season 2019 flights from Catania and Naples operated by flydubai, a carrier with which Emirates is consolidating the partnership on strategic markets such as Italy, which this year will close the operating outcome with an increase of traffic of +13%.

โ€œThe experience at the airport must be an integral part of the journey – have pleasant environments with shops, restaurants of excellence, and wifi in every area. During the Christmas period, we will have to welcome at least 1.5 million passengers, and it will be a good test for our airport.โ€
