My definition of a good hotel is a place I’d stay at

This is how Hollywood actor, Robert De Niro, defines what a good hotel is to him. And this is how this new hotel hopes he would describe their property.

The new 4-star Akama Hotel is a fusion of luxury, heritage, and hospitality located in the heart of Kathmandu. This fusion represents a mix of local Newari and Himalayan culture.

The hotel is located at Dhumbarahi, 3 miles from the Tribhuwan International Airport. It provides connectivity to such tourist attractions as Pashupatinath Temple; Boudhanath Stupa; Swoyambunath, happening hub of Lazimpat; Durbar Marg; and Thamel, along with business hubs.

For the gastronomic experience, the hotel offers a coffee shop which is a multi-cuisine restaurant, a specialty restaurant that serves Chinese and Italian cuisines, a lobby lounge that serves drinks and canapés, and 2 bars with wine, signature cocktails, and a collection of single malt.
