VisitBritain launches five new food and drink-themed UK itineraries
VisitBritain and Avanti Destinations have today launched five new customizable food and drink-themed itineraries to Wales and Cumbria as part of their multiyear Local Flavors in Great Britain campaign.
The campaign first launched in February 2018 with five itineraries and four shorter stays in four British culinary hubs (London, Yorkshire, Edinburgh, Cornwall/Devon), and introduced new educational tools for travel agents, including an interactive microsite, e-brochure and flyers.
Dedicated to inspiring travelers to explore Britain’s diverse culinary history and culture, VisitBritain and Avanti have now added Wales and Cumbria as new gastronomic destinations and created five new itineraries – Sips & Samples of Wales, Bite of Wales, Taste of Welsh Classics, Culinary Cumbria in a Nutshell and Lake District Getaway.
