Former Congo Minister of Tourism named to African Tourism Board
The former Minister of Tourism of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mr. Elvis Mutiri wa Bashara, has been named to the African Tourism Board (ATB). He will serve on the Board as a member of the Committee of Elders in Tourism.
New board members have been joining the organization before the upcoming soft launch of ATB taking place on Monday, November 5, at 1400 hours during World Travel Market in London.
200 top tourism leaders, including ministers from many African countries, as well as Dr. Taleb Rifai, former UNWTO Secretary General, are scheduled to attend the event at WTM.

Elvis Mutiri wa Bashara is the former Tourism Minister of Tourism of the Democratic Republic of Congo. His experience also includes holding the positions of National Deputy of Goma City and Vice President of the Alliance for Development and the Republic.
Bashara launched his tourism book, “RDC: Investment Opportunities in tourism,” at the Kempinski Hotel Fleuve Congo in Kinshasa in the presence of Minister Jean-Lucien Bussa, the Minister of State responsible for International Trade, along with a 5-person delegation from the “European Universities Editions” of Germany.
