20 dead at New York tourist spot after horrific limo crash

Twenty people died yesterday in a crash involving a limousine in a popular tourist spot in upstate New York.

There were 18 people in the limousine and 2 bystanders that were killed in Scholarie at the Apple Barrel Country Store. According to a witness, the limo came speeding down a hill at around 60 miles per hour and crashed into another vehicle.

The store manager, Jessica Kirby, said the limo killed 2 of its customers in the parking lot when it crashed.

The Apple Barrel Country Store is a popular tourist stop especially in the fall because of its beautiful foliage.

Crash information and the names of the victims have not yet been released. For now, the police set up a hotline for family members to call.

The crash is currently under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.

Authorities are planning on holding a conference this afternoon.
