Swiss-Belhotel International has unveiled further expansion plans in Asia as it focuses on the thriving travel and tourism destination of the Philippines.

Swiss-Belhotel International is now in the city of Davao where it has signed up its first upscale resort located in Island Garden City of Samal in partnership with Luxury Lifestyle Leisure and Resorts Corporation.

Swiss-Belresort and Villas Samal will offer 180 rooms and 100 villas and is located in the northern part of Davao. The resort offers guests the convenience of being situated just 18km from Davao International Airport and a short distance from the bridge connecting the island to metro Davao. The project is targeted to open last quarter of 2021.

With both domestic and international tourism increasing to the Philippines, Samal Island is expected to be a major new destination for visitors in the years to come with the 20-hectare resort complex boasting high-end villas, world-class accommodation and superior facilities.
