At this time there are no reports of damages or tsunami warnings. The US government Tsunami website is currently down. https://tsunami.gov/

The epic center was in the ring of fire:

  • 265.2 km (164.4 mi) WNW of Lakeport (historical), Oregon
  • 275.5 km (170.8 mi) W of Coos Bay, Oregon
  • 304.6 km (188.9 mi) WSW of Newport, Oregon
  • 348.3 km (215.9 mi) W of Roseburg, Oregon
  • 392.0 km (243.0 mi) WSW of Salem, Oregon

The shake followed an intense week of seismic activity in which the deadly Ring of Fire was rocked by 70 quakes in just 48 hours.
