Air Canada pilots reject agreement with airline

Air Canada has been advised by the Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA) that the tentative agreement reached on March 18 was not ratified by the pilot membership.

Air Canada has been advised by the Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA) that the tentative agreement reached on March 18 was not ratified by the pilot membership. As a result, company representatives will discuss with ACPA next steps towards finalizing a new collective agreement over the coming months. Air Canada confirms it is business as usual for the airline and that customers can continue to book Air Canada flights with confidence. ACPA represents approximately 3,000 pilots employed by Air Canada, and its collective agreement expired on March 31.
