The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) is actively seeking applicants to be considered for the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, and Vice President of Marketing and Product Development.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority is the State of Hawaii agency responsible for managing tourism, and today it initiated the process to identify and appoint executives to fill 3 key leadership positions.

On June 29, the Hawaii Tourism Authority board voted unanimously to fire its current President and CEO George Szigeti without cause. Its Vice President of Marketing and Product Development, Leslie Dance, previously resigned from her position on May 15 citing that she wanted to return to the mainland and be closer to her family. The Chief Operating Officer, Randy Baldemor, resigned from his position on March 2 saying that he wanted “to allow myself the opportunity to continue growing as a person.”
