The Seychelles 2012 “Carnaval International de Victoria” will be held from March 2-4, 2012, and again the world’s best and most reputed carnivals are being invited to participate and parade alongside the cultural groups from the Community of Nations. In the 2011 edition of this carnival, held earlier this year in March, some 21 floats and cultural groups representing countries from far and wide traveled to Seychelles. The organizers are expecting this number to grow for the 2012 edition of the Seychelles carnival.
The Seychelles is ready to launch it’s promotional poster for their 2012 “Carnaval International de Victoria.” After the successes of their 2011 carnival, the Seychelles has started early with the promotion of their 2012 edition of what has been called the world’s unique carnival of carnivals.
Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, has been spreading the word about the Seychelles “Carnaval International de Victoria” at tourism trade fairs accross the world. “We have ensured that we have not missed any opportunity to tell the world about the carnival of carnivals that is staged in Seychelles. From tourism trade fairs in Berlin and London, in Dubai and in Durban, in Singapore and in Delhi, in Milan and everywhere we are, the Seychelles Tourism Board’s Team is out to tell the world about the Seychelles ‘Carnival International de Victoria.’ Delegations are already registering their participation, and all is looking good so far,” Alain St.Ange said.
“Press coverage from the island’s last March edition of their carnival is still coming out right accross the world. “We promised press coverage to all our participants, and thay have received more than anyone expected. Just Google carnival/Seychelles and articles after articles appear, with all participating countries always being covered,” Alain St.Ange said.
