A live daily morning television show on MBC 1, hosted by the the very popular Lougain Omran, the Saudi presenter, received Alain St.Ange for him to answer questions on the Seychelles as pictures of the islands were beamed accross the region. This popular television show is reputed for its highlights of Saudi entrepreneurs, business men and women, and it features several interesting topics related to lifestyle, arts, and Arab society, among other regional and international updates.

Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, who was at the head of the Seychelles delegation to the 2011 Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Tourism Trade Fair in Dubai said upon his return to Seychelles on Wednesday morning that he was satisfied with the press coverage obtained at this tourism trade fair. “This year we have targeted visibility for our country as one our main objectives. We have continued to play the press as much as we can, and in Dubai for the ATM Tourism Fair, our Dubai-based office had organized a series of inverviews with several television stations, radios, newspapers, and magazines, and today we are happy with how we have promoted our country to both the GCC countries and the expatriate community based in these countries,” Alain St.Ange said.

The Seychelles show was well received and it gave Alain St.Ange the opportunity to echoe live on TV all the Seychelles main selling points to the whole region. The delegation to the ATM Tourism Trade Fair all wanted to highlight the fact that today Seychelles was well served by both Emirates and Qatar Airways. In the coming months, Emirates will have 14 weekly flights to the Seychelles from Dubai and Qatar Airways 7 flights every week from Doha. “This makes the Seychelles but one stop away from any destination,” the Seychelles eelegation said at the ATM Trade Fair.
