There was a strong attendance from highly-qualified tour operators, travel agents, and select travel bloggers at the Nepal Tourism Summit USA held today, June 20, 2018, in Denver, Colorado.

Twenty-nine Denver travel agents and tour operators had the opportunity to meet with Nardini Lane Tapa, Director of Tourism Marketing and Promotions, and Eubanks Rana, Senior Manager Tourism Marketing and Promotions, from the Nepal Tourism Board along with three tour operators from Nepal.

The event began at 4:00 pm at the Wayfinder Coop located in the vibrant and colorful Santa Fe Arts District just south of downtown Denver. The event space was very well received by the participants, reflecting a passion for connecting people. The venue contains a rotating collection of artwork, an in-house cafe/bar, and an easy access parking lot.

Those attending had the chance to learn about what Nepal has to offer as a travel destination and partake in authentic Nepalese cuisine catered by Yak&Yeti in Denver. The travel agents and tour operators said the food was absolutely extraordinary.

The highlight of the event was the awarding of a free trip to Nepal provided by the Nepal Tourism Board – a customized journey for two through Nepal โ€“ and went to Sarah Keller of GLK Dream Travel and Events in Denver.
