He recently was Manager of the Ritz Carlton Hotel Bahrain and prior to this was General Manager of the Ritz Carlton Vienna.

He is Jean Paul Dantil.

His new boss, the CEO and President, says: โ€œAs we look to the future, Jean-Paul has an extraordinary depth and breadth of understanding in this business. Our hotel group has an aggressive growth plan over the next five years and he will oversee the opening or rebranding of several properties including Vienna, Prague, Budapest, and Zagreb. In Vienna, scheduled to open in 2019, he will also serve as the opening General Manager.โ€

This was announced by Almanac Hotels and the CEO of the company, Herbert Haselbacher.

Mr. Dantil has a long career in the luxury hospitality industry. He received a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Centre International de Glion in Montreux Switzerland. In 1997 he began his career in the hotel business on the Mariana Islands for Hyatt Regency. His career track brought him to the highly regarded COMO Hotels in Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos and The Metropolitan Hotel, Park Lane, London. Additional positions include opening Das Stue in Berlin as Managing Director and the Puro Hotel in Mallorca. Prior, in Dubai, Jean-Paul was Managing Partner of CGP โ€“ the Chris Garrod Partnership, a leading hotel procurement company with offices in London, Dubai and Hong Kong. Jean Paul is a German National and has had a multi-cultural upbringing, speaking fluent English, French and German along with basic Spanish. He will reside in Vienna with his wife and children.
