With just one month to go until nominations close, the promotional campaign is in full throttle. This week, unique visitors to the awards website passed 25,000 as word spread around the world thanks to international media partners and nominees who are proactively recruiting their contacts.
That number is set to soar as the award’s Internet partner, Mail.Ru – the largest Internet company in the Russian-speaking world and the leading Internet company in Russia – begins promoting the awards this month.
Nominations close at midnight on May 31, 2011. All nominees go forward to the public vote, which will be open from June 1 to September 10, 2011 on the My Planet Awards website.
With guests from Russia and around the world, awards ceremony and dinner will take place at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Moscow’s most prestigious venue, on September 22, 2011 in Moscow.
