World Travel Market, the premier global event for the travel industry, has linked up with Carey Chauffeured Services to offer visitors and exhibitors a cost-effective and time-efficient alternative to using a black cab.

WTM Chauffeur Service, operated by Carey Chauffeured Services, is the only private hire vehicle company allowed to pick up passengers from the ExCeL – London car park, conveniently situated beneath the exhibition hall.

The WTM Chauffeur Service is bookable in advance. Ensure you arrive at WTM, avoiding the stresses and strains of the London rush hour, fresh and ready to do business and at the end of a busy day. Guests can avoid the inevitable queues for the traditional black cabs and ensure they arrive back at their hotel or at their WTM evening function not only relaxed but also in good time.

With a range of Mercedes vehicles – including Mercedes E Class, S Class, and Viano – driven by uniformed chauffeurs – exhibitors can make a good impression on their business guests.

In addition to avoiding the queues, the service is comparable with the black cabs on price. For example, the cost of using the WTM Chauffer Service to travel from ExCeL to Harrods is ยฃ40.62 plus VAT; it is thought that the cost of the same journey in a black cab is ยฃ39.

The WTM Chauffeur Service is bookable and payable in advance, giving its WTM exhibitors and visitors clarity in terms of their daily budget.

Many cabs will only accept cash payments, and those that do accept credit or debit cards are entitled to charge a premium of up to 15 percent on the cost of the fare.

Avoiding the queue for a cab at the end of the day is a benefit of the service that is hard to quantify.
