Meritus Hotels and Resorts’ 2011 sales mission opens in Hong Kong


SINGAPORE – Following a global brand push initiated for Meritus Hotels & Resorts in November 2010, representatives from the sales and senior management teams of Singapore’s icon hospitality group have embarked on the 2011 Sales Mission themed “The Meritus Difference.”

Aimed at reinforcing brand awareness in key markets and reaching out to valued corporate and travel trade contacts, the mission starts in Hong Kong on March 30, 2011 and continues into the cities of Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai in June. The mission culminates in Europe by year-end.

Kelvin Seah, Meritus Hotels & Resorts’ Vice President for Sales & Marketing, heads the mission team as they engage guests one-on-one in a unique networking opportunity to introduce milestone developments for the brand, promote positive relationships, and personally extend appreciation to customers for their continued support.

“We are ‘The Meritus Difference’ – we have a success story to tell and exciting plans to share. This annual mission is an important platform for building closer ties with our customers and further demonstrating our commitment of bringing our distinct brand of Asian hospitality to a truly global level,” said Mr. Seah.

Meritus Hotels & Resorts, Singapore’s pioneering luxury hospitality brand, is renowned for its signature “Asian grace, warmth, and care” as the essence of the Meritus service culture. The group launched a global brand campaign late last year to support its expansion in fast-growing business and tourism hubs in China, Europe, and the Middle East.

The sales mission will highlight, among others, Meritus’ growth strategies, corporate culture and philosophy, and brand initiatives, and how these developments add value to customers and business partners.

Information will also be shared about Meritus’ flagship property in Europe, scheduled to open its doors in 2012.
