(eTN) – The sales promotion campaign for the Riyadh Travel Exhibition 2011 has witnessed a tremendous success and response from tourism companies, authorities, and ministries in many countries around the world. This year Austria, Turkey, Malaysia, and Mauritius have joined the exhibition.
Austria will be participating through its National Tourism Bureau, which oversees tourism activities in Austria. Turkey’s Ministry of Tourism will be represented, along with a number of tourism companies from Turkey. And after the success of its participation in the 2010 session, Malaysia will be represented by its tourism board, as will the Mauritius Tourism Board.
Gulf and Arab participation
The requests for booking of space at Riyadh Travel Exhibition 2011 by Gulf and Arab countries have increased. The Moroccan Ministry of Tourism and Syrian Ministry of Tourism are pioneers of the Arab countries, having already booked their stands for the exhibition. This is clear evidence of the success these two organizations had from their participation at the two previous sessions of the Riyadh Travel Exhibition.
Many of the Gulf countries have also booked space at the exhibition, including Dubai, Sharja, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. These countries will be represented by their sectors of hotels, airlines, travel agents, and tourism boards.
