Alaska Airlines inaugurates Portland – Maui flight

Alaska Airlines yesterday inaugurated a thrice weekly flight between Portland, Oregon and Maui using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft that seats 157 passengers.

Alaska Airlines yesterday inaugurated a thrice weekly flight between Portland, Oregon and Maui using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft that seats 157 passengers.

Alaska Airlines said flights currently are scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The frequency will be increased to daily service on Aug. 7.

The flight is scheduled to leave Portland at 9:50 a.m. and arrive in Honolulu at 12:45 p.m.

The return flight is scheduled to leave Honolulu at 1:45 p.m. the same day and arrive in Portland at 10:15 p.m.

Alaska Airlines is expanding its Hawai’i service and by November will have 59 flights a week to all four major islands.
