New York-based value airline JetBlue Airways today celebrated the launch of new twice daily nonstop service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to both Boston and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). LAX joins JetBlue’s two other LA-basin airports, Burbank and Long Beach, to offer more options to coast-to-coast jetters. JetBlue’s new LAX service will be operated with the airline’s Airbus A320.

Alaska Airlines announced today it will add a fourth weekly flight between Bellingham, Washington and Las Vegas, starting Monday, August 3. Thrice-weekly service between the two cities is scheduled to begin Thursday, June 25, 2009.
The new 2-hour, 30-minute flight will operate between Bellingham International Airport and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas on Mondays. Service between the two cities starting June 25 will operate on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
