VIOAS magazine brings regional news to the forefront

Sir James Mancham, Seychelles first President, has brought out the second edition of his magazine that looks in detail important topics of the Indian Ocean Region and of the Arabian Sea countries. The magazine published this October 2010 reports on the “Indian Ocean community can become a powerhouse,” on “Mauritius and Madagascar making a partnership in agriculture work,” on “Australia must look west…,” on “Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, the legendary investor from Saudi Arabia as the man behind the Raffles Praslin Resort in Seychelles,” on “All Roads lead to China,” on Seychelles President James Michel “Exceptional meeting with King Juan Carlos of Spain.”

The 90-page glossy magazine also announced that Frances’s second largest airline, CORSAIRFLY, is to start three flights weekly from Paris Orly to Mauritius, and an article on the “US Naval Chief’s warning of ‘winds of change,'” among many others.

VIOAS has managed to bring to the front, articles from the large and impportant area known as the Indian Ocean region and the Arabian Sea countries. Sir James Mancham zooms in on the region in a lot of detail in his publication. The Mauritius Independence Day Celebrations is covered as a historical article.

Alain St.Ange, the eTurboNews ambassador for the Indian Ocean, has congratulated Sir James Mancham on his new publication saying that it was a needed avenue to bring out articles of interest for the governments and for the business community of the Indian Ocean and of the Arabian Sea countries.
