DJ Duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, who have been ranked at number 1 and 2 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ list from 2014-2017, will have the crowd dancing to the beat with their smash hit “Tremor.” Jason Derulo, another huge star who will be performing at the show, is sure to play all of his top songs including, “Swalla,” which has over a billion views on YouTube. Rising star Hailee Steinfeld will also be performing, playing her greatest hits like, “Love Myself,” “Starving,” and “Most Girls.” Sigala, an English DJ and record producer, who took the music industry by storm in 2015 with his debut single “Easy Love,” will also be performing.

Isle of MTV Malta will be filmed and edited into a 60-minute special that will broadcast across 20 MTV channels throughout Europe. The show will also be supported across all MTV social media platforms as well as via a bespoke website. As part of an extensive integrated marketing campaign, the Isle of MTV Malta concert will be supported by marketing initiatives, all of which will drive awareness of the event as well as leverage MTV’s world-renowned brand and unique youth insight, to further cement and promote Malta’s position as a holiday destination for young people. Over the ten years that Isle of MTV has been held in Malta, the number of visitors to the island under the age of 24 has increased by 120% and now accounts for 20% of all tourists.

According to Michelle Buttigieg, MTA North American Representative, “the Isle of MTV Malta is fast becoming a huge draw for millennials from the US & Canada also. This year is especially attractive for visitors because of all the other events surrounding the year-long celebration of Valletta European Capital of Culture 2018.”
