Discounts on TourCrafters’ hotels in Italy and Europe

Everyone knows by now that lower prices make this a great year to visit Europe. And certainly there’s no better cure for stress than a trip to Italy.

Everyone knows by now that lower prices make this a great year to visit Europe. And certainly there’s no better cure for stress than a trip to Italy. So, it’s especially good news that TourCrafters’ hotels are discounting as much as 25 percent — not just in Italy, but in Spain, France, Greece, and Turkey, too.

In Rome, the 4-star Hotel Cicerone in the exclusive Prati section close to the Vatican, shops, and restaurants, has reduced the price of a double room from US$406 to US$324 a night. The hotel’s recently-refurbished rooms boast air conditioning, Wi-Fi, mini-bars and satellite TV. The 4-star Hotel Beverly Hills, in the prestigious Parioli neighborhood, close to the Villa Borghese park and just a short walk to the Via Veneto, has also lowered the price of its rooms from US$366 to US$304. In October, the 4-star Hotel River, close to the Piazza del Popolo, will cut its room rates from US$332 to US$266.

Florence’s deluxe Plaza Hotel Lucchesi, on the right bank of the Arno River, has spectacular views and quiet comfortable rooms with air conditioning and 5-star Simmons mattresses, as well as non-allergenic pillows and duvets. The Condé Nast Traveler calls it one of the “top 100 hotels in Europe.” The hotel has reduced its rates from US$384 double to US$306 double. The 4-star Hotel Kraft, which has a convenient location in the center, also features Florence’s only rooftop terrace with swimming pool, restaurant, bar, and panoramic view. Its $312 rooms are now US$274.

Even in Venice there are bargains. The 4-star Sofitel, which is close to the railroad station and Piazzale Roma (rental cars and parking), offers elegant rooms with air conditioning, mini-bars, high-speed Internet, hairdryers, and Hermes amenities, as well as views of the Talentini Canal and Papadopoli Gardens. Its US$528 rooms now go for US$378. And the 3-star budget Hotel Malibran, on a hidden square near the Rialto Bridge, has lowered the price of its air-conditioned, Venetian-style rooms from US$220 to US$198.

Note that all prices are subject to change. For more information on these and other discounted hotels, as well as good-deal packages, call TourCrafters at 800-482-5995.
