After a month-long dry dock, Carnival Paradise has emerged ready for her close-up after a multi-million dollar makeover.

The cruise ship boasts new activity areas, 38 new staterooms along with private balconies All staterooms new interiors with an interesting mix of bright colors and soothing pastels, and, of course, what everyone looks forward to on a cruise โ€“ food venues, even at the celebrity status.

New food features onboard include Guyโ€™s Burger Joint. Most foodies know Guy Fieri from the not only his restaurants but from the Food Network as well via such shows as Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, Guyโ€™s Grocery Games, and Guyโ€™s Big Bite. Also new to the shipโ€™s food line-up is RedFrog Rum Bar located poolside, as well as BlueIguana Cantina and BlueIguana Tequila Bar.

There are also new areas to entertain the kiddies. Camp Ocean for 2 to 11-year-olds and Circle โ€œCโ€ for 12 to 14-year-olds is ready to take on the young fishies. And appealing to the young and young-at-heart is the new WaterWorks Aqua Park with a 300-foot-ong water slide and kiddie splash zone and a 9-hole miniature golf course that was relocated.
