Global summit opening session on swine flu to be broadcast live by satellite

The opening session of the Global Travel & Tourism Summit, being organized by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) in the capital of the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, will be broadcast live

The opening session of the Global Travel & Tourism Summit, being organized by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) in the capital of the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, will be broadcast live by satellite on May 15 at 14:00 local time (18:00 in London, 13:00 US EST).

This year’s opening session will focus on the impact of the swine flu on the travel and tourism industry. The discussion, which will also involve an audience of over 600 industry executives, government officials, and journalists, will be moderated by Peter Greenberg, travel editor for NBC’s Today show, MSNBC, and CNBC.
