Air Arabia Maroc to begin flights to London, UK

Air Arabia Maroc, Morocco’s new low cost carrier (LCC) announced today that it will launch services to London’s Stansted Airport beginning May 6, 2009.

Air Arabia Maroc, Morocco’s new low cost carrier (LCC) announced today that it will launch services to London’s Stansted Airport beginning May 6, 2009.

Roundtrip flights will operate four times per week between Stansted International Airport in London and Air Arabia Maroc’s hub in Mohamed V International Airport, Casablanca.

The LCC will fly to London on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays departing Casablanca at 02:15 am arriving in London at 06:35 am. Return flights will depart London at 07:20 am arriving in Casablanca at 09:50 am.

Mr. Adel Ali, Air Arabia Maroc managing director said: “Following Air Arabia’s official launch last week, we are pleased to have London as the airline’s inaugural destination. Customers flying between Casablanca and London will enjoy true value for money services connecting the emerging economy of Morocco with the capital of the United Kingdom.”

Start of services to London represents Air Arabia Maroc’s first destination, following the official launch of the airline in April 29, 2009. Launch flights to Marseille, Brussels, Milan, Lyon, and Paris will commence on May 10, 12, 14 and 16, respectively. Flights schedule is available on Air Arabia Maroc www.airarabia.com .

Air Arabia Maroc fleet consists of brand new Airbus A320 aircraft offering its passengers best economy configuration with 31″ seat pitch. The carrier will offer customers comfort, reliability, and value for money air travel from and into the Moroccan city of Casablanca.
