“Tokyo Big Sight” will be center of global tourism for Tourism EXPO Japan

The world of tourism will be looking at Japan during the upcoming Tourism EXPO Japan set for September 20-23, 2018. The event will be held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, also known as “Tokyo Big Sight.” And calling it “Big Sight” is an understatement.

“Tokyo Big Sight” is a convention and exhibition center in Tokyo, Japan, and the largest international convention venue in the country. Opened in April 1996, the center is located in the Ariake Minami district of Tokyo Waterfront City Rinkai fukutoshin on the waterfront of Tokyo Bay. Its most iconic feature is the visually-distinctive Conference Tower. The name “Tokyo Big Sight” in Japanese eventually became the official name of the venue, and it also has become the name of the operator since April 2003.
