#estacionesgastronomicas. Cudillero. Asturias

#estacionesgastronomicas is a gastronomic product promoted by the tourism association CETA (Cudillero Empresas Turísticas Asociadas) under the brand name I LOVE CUDILLERO, whose main aim is to deseasonalize demand for 4 weekends in low season throughout the year by helping attract more visitors from nearby towns as well as from other regions to their associates’ establishments.

The hashtags #estacionmerluza, #estacionfabes #estacioncalamar y #estacionpulpo are used to help promote a tourist experience directed at CETA clients, with surf and turf food products at the forefront, making gastronomy a point of connection between different tourism sectors such as lodgings, bars, restaurants, event businesses and local craftsmanship. A major gastronomy offering by theme, with seasonal products as well as discounts, welcome gifts or free drinks are some of the exclusive advantages to be enjoyed by customers who book at the participating establishments, thanks to this initiative from CETA.

The gastronomic products depend on the season when each event is held. For example, the fabes bean harvest begins in October, the best season for hake fishing is in May, etc. Thus, the name of the product “estaciones”, which means ‘seasons’ in Spanish.
