Industry veteran to lead sales at luxury Naples beachfront property

LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort located in Naples, Florida, named a new director to its property. This industry veteran was selected to lead sales and marketing, bringing her hospitality experience and skills to this luxury resort.

This Noble House Resort announced the appointment of Linda Menshon as director of sales and marketing, who joins LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort with more than 20 years of specialized experience in hospitality sales and marketing, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals through effective leadership, personalized customer service, innovative marketing plans, and attention to detail. In her new role, Menshon will oversee revenue management, group, corporate, and transient sales, and all marketing initiatives at the resort.

Prior to joining LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, Menshon served as the director of sales and marketing for nearly 3 years at Naples Bay Resort, where she successful rebranded the property as an independent hotel in 2016. During her time at Naples Bay Resort, Menshon managed the marketing budget and strategy, oversaw the sales and marketing teams, and maximized guest occupancy. From 2011 to 2014, Menshon was the director of sales at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota where she led the property’s segmented sales and catering strategy to achieve booking goals. She has also held sales positions with Renaissance Hotels of Mobile, Alabama; Don CeSar Beach Resort, a Loews Hotel; Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club; and Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa.

A native of New Jersey, Menshon is a graduate of The Berkeley College with a degree in Business Administration. She is passionate about LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort’s #LaPlayaLiving campaign focused on health and wellness, and enjoys yoga, fitness, and the outdoors.
