An Amtrak passenger train derailed about 1 kilometer away from Savannah Station in Georgia, local media reported.

There were some 311 passengers on board, according to WTOC, but no one was injured.

The incident, in which two luggage cars at the rear of the train derailed, reportedly occurred due to the track being frozen in the wrong postion.
