Earthquake in Costa Rica: 6.5

A 6.5 Earthquake was measured at 2.28 UTC time on Monday 16km South East of Jaco, Costa Rica.

Jacó is a town on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, southwest of the capital city, San José. It’s known for its surf beaches and nightlife, and as a gateway to national parks.

There are no reports of major damages, injuries or fatalities. No tsunami warning was issued.
