Those Loo-ney Airline Fees

We’ll have a conversation with activist who founded the organization that has become the collective voice of airline passengers everywhere. A survival of a brutal attack in the early 2000’s, Kate Hanni decided not to be a victim ever again, until she and her famiy sat on the tarmac for almost 9 hours. Then she did something outside the real estate arena she knew so well. She founded passengersrights.org and never looked back.

The recent tarmac delay rules have been a huge victory for Kate on behalf of all who fly, but other unsafe and deceptive airline policies are creating major challenges in the runway ahead. We’ll talk about Spirit Airlines’ new carry-on fees and Ryanair’s plans for “Johnny on the spot” fees for use of the onboard loo.
